The Two Worlds... God’s Plan
I. THE TWO WORLDS (I Tim. 3:16):
The two worlds - SPIRITUAL and PHYSICAL - exist together and are closely interrelated:
[1]. God created them both. (Gen. 1:1)
[2]. Man was created for both. (I Thess. 5:23)
[3]. The spiritual is constantly influencing the physical. (Eph. 2:2;Heb. 1:14)
(a). Cherubim (Spr.) placed at gate of Eden (Phy.) Gen. 3:24
(b). Two angels (Spr.) were sent to deliver Lot (Phy.) Gen. 19
(c). Jacob (Phy.) saw angels (Spr.) on the ladder. Gen. 28:10-19
(d). David's army stood still while angelic army (Spr.) defeated the Philistines (Phy.) I Chron. 14:13-17.

Before the spiritual world and the physical world there was God. He created them both for a purpose:
[1]. Before the foundation of whole universe the Godhead (Trinity) existed (Gen. 1:26; Isa. 6:8; Matt. 3:16,17; 28:19; II Cor. 13:14).
[2]. Before the foundation of the physical world God created the angelic host (Job 38:4,7; Psa. 148:2,5).
[3]. Before the foundation of the physical world God ordained salvation for man (Rev. 13:8; 17:8; Eph. 1:4,5; Titus 1:2; II Tim. 1:9).
[4]. Before the foundation of the physical world the Son was willing to carry out the work of redemption (Heb. 9:14).
[5]. Before the foundation of the physical world God conceived the church and its mission (Eph. 3:6,9).
[6]. Before the foundation of the physical world God prepared the kingdom for His own (Matt. 25:34; I Cor. 2:7).
