VERSES THAT ARE USED TO SHOW A PERSON CAN LOSE HIS SALVATION IN THIS AGE.

 

Matt. 5:21-22 - Paul and Jesus called them fools and neither one is in hell

{1 Cor. 15:36} {Matt. 23:17}

Matt. 6:15 - Jewish context {1 John 1:9}

Matt. 7:21-23 - The people that do the works are lost. It doesn't say they "called" on the Lord, but just "said" it {2 Cor. 11:13-15} {Rom. 10:13}

Matt. 10:33 - Peter denied the Lord 3 times and didn't go to hell {2 Tim. 2:12-13}

{1 Cor. 5:1-5}

Matt. 12:31-32 - Christ isn't on the earth now {Mark 3:28-30}

Matt. 25:1-11 - Doctrinally this is the second advent. "Going to meet" not "marry". (Acts 8:20 You cannot buy the Holy Spirit).

Matt. 25:14-29 - Kingdom of Heaven in these verses, works are involved for salvation.

John 15:1-6 - Someone that doesn't abide in him, the works are burned {1 Cor. 3:13} Physical death, not Spiritual damnation. Men are likened to branches.

Heb. 3:6,14 - Nothing said about the body of Christ. Tribulation - (unto end of Tribulation)

{Dan. 11:36; 12:4; 7:20; 8:17-19; 9:24-26}

Heb. 4:1,11 - Works are involved in getting this rest {Matt. 11:28}.

Heb. 6:4-6 - If you lose salvation in the Tribulation, it is impossible to get it back.

Heb. 10:26-31 - Christ is the last sacrifice. It doesn't say no more forgiveness {1 John 1:9}, Willful rejection of Christ (end of tribulation v.37-39).

James 2:24 - Man is justified by faith before God, and by works before man {Rom. 3:26-28; Rom. 4:2}.

Rev. 22:19 - It says "Part" not "You"!

Paul admonishes the believer to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Many people in the Pentecostal movement teach that you can lose your salvation in this dispensation. This teaching is a definite twisting of scripture. Not rightly dividing the Word of God will lead to all kinds of heresies.

Peter warned of this also in his epistle when he said,

2Pe 3: 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

16. As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
